About Howard Fine Acting Studio Australia

The Howard Fine Acting Studio is a leading international training institution, with permanent bases in Los Angeles and Melbourne. Our mission is to make you a strong, self-reliant actor able to perform at the highest levels in the industry. Founded by the multi award-winning Howard Fine, our training is accessible, demanding and rewarding.

Situated in Brunswick (Melbourne), The Howard Fine Acting Studio Australia was founded after an overwhelming response to Howard’s first ever Australian Master Classes in June 2011.

In the following months, Howard worked closely with the inaugural directors of the Howard Fine Acting Studio Australia to launch the entire HFAS curriculum in Melbourne and the Australian studio began full operation in January 2012. As a provider of yearlong, term-long, and intensive classes, The Studio has had a significant impact on the performance landscape of Australia and has led the way in providing Australian actors with world-class, technique-driven training.

The Howard Fine Acting Studio Australia provides Australian actors with access to the award-winning techniques created and refined at the Los Angeles Studio.

The training at The Studio is designed for professional and aspiring actors aged eighteen years and over, as well as select courses designed specifically for teens.
